We’re expanding and are on the lookout for a passionate, skilled, and experienced Curry & Tandoor Chef with expertise in Indo-Chinese and South Indian cuisine to join our vibrant kitchen team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Curry/Tandoor Chef in a busy kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Indo-Chinese and/or South Indian cuisine is essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent understanding of spices, cooking techniques, and regional flavour profiles.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Food hygiene certification preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian curries, tandoori dishes, Indo-Chinese favourites (e.g., chilli paneer, hakka noodles), and South Indian staples (e.g., dosas, idlis, sambhar).
  • Manage prep and cooking stations, ensuring food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Operate and maintain traditional tandoor ovens for naan, kebabs, and tandoori meats/veg.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team on menu innovation and specials.
  • Ensure consistent portion control and proper use of ingredients.
  • Follow all food hygiene and health & safety standards.
  • Train junior kitchen staff as needed.
