Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a wide variety of Indian dishes, including South Indian, North Indian, and other regional Indian dishes.
  • Develop and introduce new recipes and culinary techniques
  • Demonstrate and train kitchen staff in the use of new cooking methods and equipment
  • Instruct cooks on food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation standards
  • Plan, prepare, and execute full meals and specialty dishes for events such as buffets, banquets or private functions
  • Cook meals regularly and for special occasions, guests, or VIPs
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and kitchen team
  • Ensure meals meet dietary requirements, including allergies and intolerances
  • Manage inventory and requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed
  • Design and plan diverse menus while ensuring high-quality food standards and cleanliness of the kitchen.
