Forcast Tradings ltd trading as Tandoori Bar & Eatery, Huapai,Auckland is seeking an experienced Chef specializing in Indian cuisine (Tandoori & Curry). The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing & cooking a range of Indian dishes ensuring Food quality & presentation meet our standards.

Prepare, cook, and present authentic Indian dishes including curries, tandoori items, biryanis, breads, and Ensure food is prepared in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations
.Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
.Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment
Collaborate with management to develop and improve menu offerings.
Monitor inventory and assist in ordering ingredients and supplies.
Maintaining your part of the Food Control Plan by ensuring the data is recorded as required.
Train and supervise kitchen staff as needed
.Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Other lawful duties as requested from time to time.
Skills & Experience required: At least 3 years’ experience working in an Indian restaurant, skilled in cooking and presenting quality Indian Tandoor & Curry dishes.
.Knowledge of Indian spices, cooking methods, and regional dishes
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
Experience in maintaining food hygiene and safety standards
This is a full time role with minimum 32 hours to 40 hours per week
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
