Responsibilities

Join the Jasper Indigenous Relations and Cultural Heritage Team. This opportunity will allow you to lead projects, engagement efforts and provide strategic input into policy, programs, and other field unit priorities on reconciliation. You will play a critical role in ensuring positive relationships with Indigenous partners connected to Jasper National Park, engaging with them to identify priorities for collaboration and communicating these priorities cross-functionally within the Jasper Field Unit.
For over 20 years, Parks Canada has built strong relationships with many Indigenous groups that have connections to Jasper National Park. This Indigenous Liaison position will report to the Indigenous Relations & Cultural Heritage Manager to assist in developing and strengthening interest-based working relationships with more than 20 Indigenous partner communities.
