INDIRECT BUYER - CUMBERNAULD - 3 DAYS PER WEEK - EXCELLENT SALARY PLUS BENEFITS - 3 MONTH CONTRACT (MAY EXTEND TO 6)

ZedTalent’s client continues to push the boundaries of the design, manufacture, build and test of gas analysers and gas emission monitoring systems. Their equipment is found in a range of industrial settings. Key markets include process control, continuous emissions monitoring (CEMs), defence and security.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Solid background in indirect procurement (ideally 5 years + experience) with focus on CAPEX - Gas procurement experience a plus
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships and deliver against performance targets
  • Strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Data analytics and ability to articulate clear initiatives from the data
  • Contract negotiations & management
  • Ability to collaborate with & influence stakeholders to deliver commercial value & risk mitigation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Oracle experience preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess new suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability and competitive pricing
  • Deliver regular updates, presentations and reports to internal stakeholders on procurement activities
  • Develop and publish documentation supporting requirements, standards, procedures and processes
