BASIC QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in SAP/Ariba preferred
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Full UK driving license

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

Boeing is seeking a professional to join the team as a Procurement Agent, who will provide team lead support for both direct and indirect spend for various IT commodities. This role will ensure the implementation of best practices in procurement processes, drive cost savings, enhance supplier relationships and performance while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Location: Bristol or Milton Keynes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Negotiates and contracts for products, services and technologies.
  • Engages stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
  • Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Manages supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance
  • Mitigates risks and issues.
  • Initiates supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies.
  • Support to the team through coaching, training and development.
