Where you'll make your mark This is an opportunity to lead one of the most strategically important procurement portfolios across our global business. Reporting to the EVP Global Supply Chain, Procurement & Manufacturing, you will shape the strategy for more than NZ$400 million of annual indirect spend while partnering with senior leaders across Product Development, Manufacturing, IT, Finance, Marketing, Sales and our global supplier network. Success in this role is about far more than negotiating contracts. You'll develop and execute global category strategies, build strong supplier partnerships, unlock value through commercial innovation, and help ensure our procurement function enables Fisher & Paykel's long-term growth and sustainability ambitions. Leading a high-performing global team, you'll foster a culture of accountability, capability development and continuous improvement. You'll also play a key role in driving cost optimisation, strengthening supplier performance, supporting our decarbonisation objectives, and ensuring procurement remains a trusted strategic partner to the wider business. Who are you? You're an experienced procurement leader who thrives in complex global environments and enjoys balancing strategy with execution. You understand that exceptional procurement is about creating long-term business value through strong relationships, commercial insight and disciplined execution. You bring a collaborative leadership style and naturally influence across diverse stakeholder groups. Comfortable operating at executive level while remaining connected to your team, you enjoy solving complex commercial challenges, identifying opportunities others miss, and building high-performing teams that consistently deliver results. Most importantly, you think beyond procurement. You understand the broader commercial picture and can align sourcing, supplier strategy and category management to support business performance, innovation and sustainable growth. You'll bring Significant experience leading procurement within a large global organisation, ideally across multiple indirect categories. Demonstrated success developing and executing category strategies that deliver measurable commercial outcomes. Strong commercial, financial and analytical capability, with experience in contract negotiation, supplier relationship management and business case development. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to coach, develop and inspire high-performing teams. Confidence partnering with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions and influencing strategic decisions. A pragmatic, data-driven approach, combined with sound judgement, curiosity and the ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.
