Description

About EBIT:
EBIT is a fast-paced, ambitious agile business with 14 years of proven success. We’re a close-knit team proud to support hundreds of well-known brands, helping them buy better so they can focus on what they do best.
Role Overview:
As the Procurement Operations Lead you will take ownership of procurement delivery operations for our client, including managing the central buy desk, overseeing PO administration, and driving process governance and category planning. In this role, you will lead, train, and develop a high-performing procurement Operations desk team responsible for renewals sourcing, contract negotiation, purchase order execution, and supplier management to deliver cost savings and improved performance. You will manage a pipeline of indirect procurement projects aligned with client and EBIT objectives, ensuring prioritisation, timely delivery, and alignment with onboarding, SOPs, and change management processes. Acting as a key escalation point, you will maintain strong stakeholder engagement, provide strategic procurement guidance, and support decision-making through data-driven insights. You will establish and lead a spend control tower to validate purchasing decisions, challenge spend where necessary, and promote compliance. Tech-savvy and systems-oriented, you’ll work confidently across tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Workday, Oracle, and ServiceNow, driving efficiency and global collaboration across teams in the US, UK, EU, and Asia. This role requires a forward-thinking mindset, the ability to navigate complex environments, and a focus on delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions in line with client and EBIT standards.
What’s in it for you:
This is a brilliant time to be joining the business on a period of rapid growth and transformation. You will have the opportunity to drive real change, work with high performing teams and hold global responsibility. The package is as follows:
· Total Package range: £50,000 - £65,000
· Working Pattern: Full time, minimum of 3 days per week on site
· Location: Dorchester, Dorset
· Benefits: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, Pension (Nest) and more to come
What We’re Looking For:
A proven procurement professional with strong experience in senior procurement or commercial roles, broad category knowledge, and the confidence to engage at C-level and board level. We’re seeking a dynamic Procurement Operations Lead to oversee procurement activities for our client, including central buy desk operations, purchase order administration, and spend management across all indirect categories. You have owned and optimized end-to-end procurement processes and driven business-wide adoption to enhance cost control. You are passionate about improving process efficiency, delivering stakeholder training, and ensuring compliance while collaborating closely with senior stakeholders. Demonstrating strong leadership, organisation, and team coaching skills, you align with EBIT’s values of accountability, expertise, directness, and commitment to excellence. Solutions-focused, adaptable, and tech-savvy, you bring advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis and can navigate and train procurement teams on systems like Jira, Workday, Oracle, and ServiceNow.
If you’re ready to lead a procurement operations team and make a tangible impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.
