We play a key part in developing and executing sourcing strategies that drive cost optimization, supplier performance, and long-term value across multiple spend categories. Fuel your passion As the Indirect Sourcing Specialist, you will negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders according to company policies and achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. This role partners closely with Site Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and key stakeholders to ensure supply continuity, drive value creation, and support long-term business objectives. As a Indirect Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for: Developing and execute category strategies aligned with business and operational goals. This may also include purchasing activities. Leading supplier sourcing, selection, negotiations, and contracting to achieve cost savings and value creation. Analyzing market trends, commodity indices, and total cost of ownership (TCO). Identifying and mitigate supply chain risks, including supply continuity and geopolitical exposure. Ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies and sourcing standards. Partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance on sourcing decisions. Proposing improvement in approaches, methods, procedures, and processes. Contributing to projects as a team member or leading projects. Work goals typically take 1-3 months to complete, and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 months. Resolving supplier-related problems including payments, terms, performance, etc. To be successful in this role you will: Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma / GED, with at least 3-4 years of experience in Sourcing or Supply Chain. Have ability to work independently and show ownership and accountability for assigned commodities Have provide good internal customer service Have good team players and display excellent communication skills, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Have good problem-solving and analytical skills. Have demonstration negotiation skills & contract development. Candidates for this role (office-based/ hybrid/ remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes’ good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position.
