Due to continued expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager to join our Indirect Tax team.
About the team
Our Indirect Tax practice is one of the largest in Ireland, with a very strong portfolio of valued clients across all industry sectors.
Deloitte’s global network of indirect tax and customs and global trade professionals provide advisory services along with a range of efficient outsourcing and co-sourcing options, applying innovative technology solutions.
The primary goal of our specialist team is to integrate seamlessly. This applies in equal measure to both technical delivery as well as the client team’s culture and personality. Our team members pride themselves on their ability to deliver an unparalleled client experience and on leaving a lasting impression that forms part of a long term, partnership-based relationship with our clients.

About the Role

  • Maintaining and developing and leading strong client relationships
  • Playing an active role in leading the team and the strategy of the group
  • Conducting VAT reviews providing opinions on VAT scenarios for clients
  • Researching and analysing a wide range of tax issues and tax implications.
  • Leading global offerings for multi-national clients
  • Working with our TMC practice to help clients meet and manage global VAT footprints
  • Mentoring and guiding juniors team members
  • Develop high-performing people and teams through challenging and meaningful opportunities
  • Deliver exceptional client service; maximize results and drive high performance from people while fostering collaboration across businesses and borders
  • Influence clients, teams, and individuals positively, leading by example and establishing confident relationships with increasingly senior people
  • Understand key objectives for clients and Deloitte; align people to objectives and set priorities and direction

About You

  • Prior VAT experience preferably from professional services.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • ACA/CTA qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent client facing, relationship building and business development skills.
  • An ability to analyse information, identify issues and prioritise them.
