Description
In this position, you will actively contribute to the management and optimization of indirect tax processes across several European countries. Ensure timely and accurate indirect tax compliance for multiple European countries, managing VAT returns and related processes Analyze accounting records and documentation to support the correct application of tax and legal requirements Review and improve existing tax processes by identifying opportunities for increased efficiency, automation, and stronger internal controls Serve as the main contact for indirect tax topics, collaborating with finance, accounting, business units, and external advisors to resolve complex queries Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation for all indirect tax procedures and support internal and external audits Support the development and sharing of indirect tax knowledge within the team, providing guidance to less experienced colleagues as needed University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related area At least 3 years of professional experience with Indirect Taxes, Accounting, or similar functions, including practical experience in VAT compliance within a multinational setting Solid working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel. Experience with process automation or optimization is a plus Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international team environment Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
