  Job Title:  Customer Service Representative (CSR)   Direct Report:  Office Manager     Position Type:  Seasonal   Position Status: Part Time/Evenings & Weekends   Location:   Mahogany Beach Club    29 Masters Park, SE Calgary, AB T3M 2C1   The Customer Service Representative (CSR), under the direction of the Office Manager, is primarily responsible for executing all administrative tasks to the highest quality standard using efficient communication and multitasking skills while also holding a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. The CSR is the first point of contact either in person, on the telephone or via email and customers should feel welcomed in a positive environment in knowing they will receive help and friendly service. When not facing the customer, the CSR will also be responsible for general office tasks and projects.  Competencies * Excellent communication & interpersonal skills * Leadership qualities * Confident and experienced in customer service * Experience with conflict resolution * Driven and self-motivated when required * Exceptional organization and planning skills * Ability to multi-task and focus in a busy environment * Close attention to detail and the ability to plan ahead * Ability to smile and work under pressure * Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information * Willingness to learn and grow * A positive attitude and approachability a requirement * Exceptional interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication * Thrive in a Collaborative team-oriented environment * Good time management skills * Confidentiality * Have the ability to change and adapt to every changing environment * The ability to work in both a team environment and independently Key Responsibilities: * Assist customers with their needs, answer phones and respond to general face to face inquires. * Greet customers, members and member guests in a friendly positive manner. * Perform opening and closing duties (unlocking and locking rooms, assisting in room set up and take down, room rental walk-throughs, minor cleaning between room rentals, etc.) * Ensure office, lobby area, facility rooms, bathrooms and kitchen are kept in a professional and tidy manner. * Respond to voicemail and email within a timely and appropriate manor. * Basic filing skills. * Provide new phone credentials and be able to guide customer through the set- up process. * Provide direction to customers, members and member guests when they check in. * Accept and process payments for encumbrance fees, room bookings and programs. * Advise and direct customer inquires and complete facility bookings and program registrations. * Possess a confidant understanding of MHOA facilities, polices and procedures. * Have a good understanding of what the different stakeholders’ roles are within the community. * Assist and process new membership enrolment and have a thorough knowledge of the process. * Have a good understanding of the MHOA community and where the community is with the development process. *  Be up to date with current seasonal operations and needs. * Educate new members through waivers and information sheets. * Be able to ask questions and make inquires to find the correct answer for any customer inquiry. * Be able to think outside the box and look at current processes and look for better ways to improve current processes. * Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.   Requirements: * Some experience in customer service * Secondary education * Minimum 16 years of age * Proactive and positive attitude * Strong work ethic * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to assist people * A wiliness to learn and develop skill level and experience * Ability to work as part of the team   Working Conditions: * Operation of desk top computer and peripherals * Extended periods of sitting and/or standing * Interaction with employees, management and the public at large * Working in a busy office environment with frequent interruptions * Weekend and evening work with varied schedule * Flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays * Willingness to work outside * Occasional overtime * Will be required to complete a background check (with vulnerable sector if over 18) * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasions
