Description Description/Summary Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, this position is responsible for the set-up and operation of induction brazing equipment to customer specifications including assembly of details at various levels prior to brazing. Brazers are responsible for performing various calibration, measuring, and inspection functions. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Continuously completes successful braze and debraze procedures in manufacturing cell Makes and cuts braze rings. Follows all applicable work instructions and documentation. Assembles using resistance tack welders. Fabricates and insulates braze coils and glass. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Attend all meetings and trainings as scheduled Requirements Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience Levels Trainee Braze I – Able to perform all standard jobs. Braze II – Able to perform complex jobs and generally has 3-5 years experience. Responsible for training new hires.
