Job Summary Are you looking for an internship opportunity in AI & Machine Learning? Emerson has just the opportunity for you! We are seeking an Intern who will participate in the Predictive Maintenance ChatBot - Smart Assistant for Intelligent Recommendation project and build a sophisticated system utilizing AI/ML to offer predictive maintenance activities and improve response time for equipment repairs based on historical experience, real-time data, predictive analytics, and expert inputs. If you are a student looking to gain hands-on experience applying AI/ML to predictive maintenance in a real-world industrial setting, develop skills in data collection, preparation, and analysis for equipment performance and failure prediction, build and evaluate predictive models using historical and real-time equipment data, design and implement dashboards or visualization tools to communicate insights to engineering and operations teams and understand how AI/ML contributes to operational efficiency and supports Industry 4.0 initiatives, we would love to hear from you! In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Collect and prepare data from equipment logs, maintenance records, and sensor readings. Explore options for integrating predictions into existing maintenance workflows. Support the development and testing of machine learning models to identify failure patterns and predict equipment health. Build simple visualizations to display insights to users (engineers, technicians). Document findings, results, and recommendations for future system development. Modifying the software to identify the laser machine used (based on serial number) and load the corresponding inspection profile dynamically. Who You Are: You focus on priorities and set stretch goals. You take time to ask questions and define the problem and make learning a priority and a goal. You define overall goals and objectives. For This Role, You Will Need: Diploma in Computer Science. Skills in SQL, Python or AI methods (such as Azure AI).
