Role Description The Industrial Automation Specialist (part-time, remote) will support the design, implementation, and optimization of automation solutions for construction-related processes and equipment. Responsibilities include analyzing existing workflows, identifying opportunities for automation, and configuring control systems and tools to improve safety, efficiency, and consistency. The specialist will develop and execute test cases, verify proper system functionality, and collaborate with project teams to resolve technical issues. Daily tasks involve troubleshooting automation-related problems, documenting findings, and contributing to continuous quality assurance and process improvements. The role requires regular communication with on-site engineers and management to ensure remote support aligns with project timelines and standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Process Automation and Automation, with experience designing or optimizing automated workflows and control systems.
• Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues in industrial and construction environments.
• Candidates should possess the ability to design and execute Test Cases to validate automation logic, system performance, and safety requirements.
• Candidates should possess Quality Assurance skills to ensure automated processes meet defined standards, compliance requirements, and project specifications.
• Relevant qualifications may include a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with PLCs, SCADA, or similar industrial control platforms, plus familiarity with construction or infrastructure projects, is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic and regional regulations in Kuwait is an advantage.
