SUMMARY

Stanyan Hill Controls LLC (a division of Premier Combustion Services Corporation) is seeking an experienced Project Engineer/ PLC programmer for our UL508A custom panel shop in Wentworth, NH. This position will be remote/hybrid.
The canidate designs, programs, troubleshoots, repairs controls, PLCs, and instrumentation for burner management & industrial control systems. Some multiple-day travel to our UL listed 508A panel shop located in Wenworth, NH will be required for training purposes, factory acceptance testing and annual team gatherings. Trade show attendance is optional. All travel incurred expenses will be covered by company including per diem etc. Preffered to have experience with function block programming and ladder logic.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate in a Specialized Technology Degree or five years of related controls experience.
• Extensive knowledge of PLC programming.
• Hands-on experience with the startup and commissioning of industrial boilers/ovens/furnaces and other processing equipment. Feedwater systems/ dearator systems.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
• Proficient with the following types of software:
• Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• Rockwell PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming software
• Willingness to learn other manufacturers software (Siemens, Schneider, Beijer, etc.)

• Design, fabricate, and program the following systems: SCADA, CCS, BMS, and BoP.
• Project management, design, fabrication, and programming for single, redundant, or TMR processors & I/O control systems.
• SCADA, CCS, BMS, and BoP startup support for single and multi-burner combustion applications throughout the US and Canada. (Support is primarily via phone or VPN router).
• Designs and drafts electrical schematics (AutoCad, ProgeCAD).
• Adapts to altered work schedules as needed to meet project requirements.
• Develop standard procedures.
• This is a remote position but travel to the main office is necessary for customer FAT testing and meetings as required.
• Performs other duties as required.
