The Industrial CDL Route Delivery Driver/Production Technician is responsible for the loading and unloading of cylinders and freight from trucks, filling cylinders with compressed and liquefied gases safely, following all established procedures and regulations. Responsible for maintaining inventories of full cylinders to meet the requirements of our customers. Delivers and exchanges full cylinders and liquid vessels for empty ones.   Schedule is Monday through Friday and home every night.    Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Loads and unloads freight and cylinders on truck * Determine weights of cylinders and freight on orders to be loaded on each truck/trailer * Fill industrial, medical and food grade liquefied gases into cylinders following all established procedures  * Fill industrial and medical grade cryogenic refrigerated liquids into appropriate containers and vehicle mounted vessels * Follow all established procedures and keeping neat and accurate records as necessary * Accurately fills out truck manifest form and gas invoices * Delivers freight and gas cylinders to customers * Take basic orders from customers when needed * Adhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rules * Performs other tasks as assigned or necessary Qualifications * Minimum of Class B CDL with Hazardous Material endorsement or ability to obtain through in house training program * 1 year verifiable city delivery experience preferred * No at fault accidents or DOT moving violations in the past 3 years * Excellent driving record * Basic understanding of welding machines and related tools * Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (writing invoices, picking up small cylinders, rolling large cylinders, pushing cylinder cart, hand trucks, steering truck, etc.) * Good organizational skills * Ability to work safely around special hazards (i.e. mechanical – operating lift gate, and explosives – haul and work around flammable gas and non-flammable gas) * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs * Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time * Be flexible to do other duties as assigned or as needed     ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Norco offers a competitive compensation/benefit package, including: * Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) * Health, Vision and Dental Insurance * Health Savings Account (HSA)  * Medical and Dependent Care Flex Accounts (FSA) * Life Insurance provided at no cost to employee by Norco  * Supplemental Accident, Disease, and Life Insurance options * Employee Tuition Reimbursement * 401(k) with Employer Matching * Employee Discount on products sold by Norco   COMPANY DESCRIPTION Founded in 1948, Norco is headquartered in Boise, Idaho and has more than 70 branches in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Nevada, Washington, Utah and Wyoming.
