Description

MPS Group, Inc., is seeking an Industrial Cleaner to join our team at the Cleveland Cliffs Facility located in Middletown, OH. This individual is responsible for performing a variety of industrial cleaning and housekeeping tasks while adhering to all safety requirements. Shift Details: Shift: 1st shift Schedule: Monday - Sunday, 6:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Responsibilities and Job Duties: * Collects and disposes of trash and debris from designated work areas. * Uses manual tools and equipment (e.g., shovels, scrapers, rakes, squeegees, brooms, mops) and a variety of cleaning supplies (e.g., scrub pads, rags, tack cloths, brushes) to meet cleaning and housekeeping objectives in industrial work areas as directed. * Operates powered industrial equipment as assigned, including but not limited to sweeper/scrubbers, industrial carts, burden carriers, and fork trucks. * Performs additional duties as assigned based on operational needs. * Adheres to all company safety requirements, policies, and procedures while on the job. Requirements and Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED. * OSHA 10 certification required prior to hire (may be obtained through a company-sponsored program). * Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for long periods of time and reach within 6" of the ground. * Ability to climb ladders and stairs. * Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. with assistance. * Ability able to work in confined spaces. * Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions. * Manual dexterity sufficient to use small hand tools, handle small parts (e.g., nuts and bolts), and perform work at various positions (overhead, front-facing, and low-level). * Ability to pass a background check. * Ability to pass a drug test and physical.
