As an Industrial Cost Accountant, you ll partner closely with the Head of Controlling to deliver critical financial oversight for manufacturing operations. You ll help ensure accuracy in cost accounting, support operational efficiency, and deliver insights that drive smart business decisions. Your work will touch every aspect of manufacturing performance from inventory control to cost analysis in a collaborative environment that values continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency with SAP required.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the Annual Standard Cost Roll calculation for all sites, including production and overhead rate calculations; review SAP ERP inputs for material costs, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and routings.
  • Deliver monthly reporting and analysis of Industrial KPIs covering manufacturing and purchasing performance, production variances, scrap/rework costs, department spend, and productivity metrics.
  • Conduct detailed sales and standard margin analysis compared to forecasts and budgets; explain variances related to volume, mix, and pricing.
  • Support the Annual Mid-Term Plan (MTP) and update manufacturing performance evolution for monthly rolling forecasts as needed.
  • Perform month-end close tasks, including E&O reserves, scrap accruals, inventory reconciliations, and policy compliance.
  • Contribute to year-end physical inventory and ongoing cycle counting processes.
  • Respond to ad hoc cost queries, new material costings, and commercial bid activities.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of cost accounting processes and drive continuous improvements.
  • Support and uphold the health, safety, and environmental programs, contributing to a culture of accountability and care.
