Plant operator for a small industrial waste water treatment plant processing the effluent from a high-end global food manufacturing plant.
The plant is a physico-chemical process including a small disolved air flotation unit.
The ideal candidate would :
. Have a strong liking for housekeeping
. Be thorough and methodical in the daily checks and monitoring of the plant (pH, chemicals ordering, sample collection)
. Keep record in a log book
. Have good time-keeping
The shift pattern would typically be 4h per day, 3 days per week, or 3h per day, 4 days per week. The start / end time can be flexible and articulated around childcare constraints (e.g. 10AM til 2PM). All training would be provided to the suitable candidate. No pre-requisite required other than ethos and positive attitude.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
