THE CAREER OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Industrial Electrical Account Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, driving sales of electrical service solutions, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects and maintenance services to industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical services, account management, and industrial environments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in account management within the industrial electrical services or related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial electrical systems, equipment, and maintenance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in this field).
  • Experience working in industries such as manufacturing, oil & gas, utilities, or heavy industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with low voltage and medium voltage electrical systems, automation, and control systems.

Responsibilities
  • CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:Develop and maintain strong relationships with industrial clients to understand their electrical service needs, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and pursue new clients in the industrial sector. Prepare and present service proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
  • PROJECT & SERVICE COORDINATION:Collaborate with internal service teams, project managers, and technicians to ensure the timely and successful delivery of electrical service projects, preventative maintenance, and emergency services.
  • FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT:Meet or exceed sales targets, manage account budgets, and ensure profitability on service agreements and projects.
  • TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:Maintain a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, motor controls, automation, and safety standards (NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA regulations).
  • REPORTING & FORECASTING:Provide regular updates on sales activities, market trends, and project status to management. Assist in forecasting revenue and resource planning.
