Description Industrial Electrician / Controls Technician (CNC & PLC) Pekin, IL $35–$45/hr + Overtime Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Full-Time Be the Go-To Expert for Critical Equipment If you’re the one people call when a machine goes down—and you can track the issue, fix it, and get production moving again—this role is built for you. You’ll be working hands-on with CNC machines, PLC systems, and industrial electrical equipment, solving real problems that keep operations running. What You’ll Be Doing Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems (up to 480V, 3-phase) Diagnose and fix PLC issues (Allen-Bradley primarily) Work on CNC machines and machine tool systems Repair motors, VFDs, control panels, and components Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime Support equipment installs, upgrades, and improvements Respond to breakdowns and get machines back online quickly What You’ll Work On CNC machines & machine tool equipment PLC-controlled systems (Allen-Bradley focus) Drives, motors, and control panels Sensors, wiring, and electrical components Tools & Tech Multimeters and electrical diagnostic tools PLC troubleshooting software Standard electrical and maintenance tools Requirements What You Need 3–5+ years of industrial electrical experience Strong troubleshooting skills with 480V systems Experience reading schematics and prints Experience working in manufacturing environments Bonus If You Have: PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley or similar) CNC or machine tool experience Journeyman license or electrical training/apprenticeship Work Environment Hands-on manufacturing environment Fast-paced troubleshooting and repair work Active role with minimal downtime Apply Today If you’re a skilled electrician or controls tech who enjoys solving real equipment problems, we want to talk.
