We have an opportunity for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our close-knit Nelson team. If you have been working in the domestic or commercial arenas and would like to gain some valuable industrial experience, we are open to helping you with this. Exposure to control systems, VSDs, and instrumentation is guaranteed, and we have experienced people to help get you up to speed.

NGA PŪKENGA MATUA | IMPORTANT SKILLS

• Qualified & Registered Electrician, EWRB practising licence.
• Automation Experience and knowledge of Industrial PLC’s, SCADA and Instrumentation
• Drivers Licence – Class 1 minimum. class 2 & F an advantage
• Computer Literate (ability to complete time and job sheets, and technical literacy to operate static and mobile telemetry devices)
• Ability to plan jobs, organise your teams, and operate and maintain equipment without supervision.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out various electrical tasks according to the contract requirements. These tasks include planned and reactive work, as well as:

• Carrying out tasks related to industrial electrical, PLC, and SCADA assets as required by supervisors, contract managers, and clients.
• Promptly and efficiently carrying out maintenance and repairs, as well as new and existing Automation and Electrical installations.
• Participating on the Electrical Team on-call roster
