With business growth and success, we have a new opportunity for an Industrial Electrician to join our close-knit Nelson team. If you have been working in the domestic or commercial arenas and would like to gain some valuable industrial experience, we are open to helping you with this. Exposure to control systems, VSD’s, and instrumentation is guaranteed, and we have experienced people to help get you up to speed.

NGA PUKENGA MATUA | IMPORTANT SKILLS

• Qualified & Registered Electrician, EWRB practising licence.
• Automation Experience and knowledge of Industrial PLC’s, SCADA and Instrumentation is an advantage
• Driver’s Licence – Class 1 minimum
• Computer Literate (ability to complete time and job sheets, and technical literacy to operate static and mobile telemetry devices)
• Ability to plan jobs, organise your teams, operate and maintain equipment without supervision.

Reporting to the Supervisor you will be part of a team of Electricians, Apprentice Electricians (and other general duties staff) carrying out pro-active and reactive maintenance and renewal projects works on the 3 Waters Networks.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Carrying out associated tasks as required on Industrial Electrical, PLC and SCADA assets as determined by your EICA Team Lead and clients.
• Carrying out maintenance and repairs and new & existing Automation and Electrical installations to be completed promptly and efficiently.
• Growing the Automation capability and capacity
