• Understand requirements under CSA Z462 Workplace Electrician Safety and NFPA 70-E Arc Flash
• Use all equipment and machinery related to the trade requirements
• Read and understand schematics and drawing associated with the trade
• Build new machinery and equipment with minimum supervision
• Troubleshoot active and new machinery and equipment with minimal supervision
• Proactively commit to improving machinery, equipment, process and PM systems
• Train apprentices in all aspects of machine and equipment, repair, safety and SPC
• Troubleshoot PLC system, machine controls and robotic automation cells
• Maintain housekeeping to ensure working environment is free of hazards
• Participate and/or cooperate with the JHSC to improve safety
• Understand and adhere to lean manufacturing and 5S Concept
• Comply with all company guidelines, policies and procedures in regards to employee relations, health and safety, quality assurance, security and housekeeping
