TIME SERVED, QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN - PART OR FULL TIME

Monday to Friday
Due to company expansion, we are looking for a time served, qualified electrician to join our well established family business in industry. We carry out the upgrade of and new installations for factories, office blocks, schools etc. Mostly within a 25 mile radius of Loughborough. As a company we offer our clients design, manufacture and installation services, which means work is often varied and bespoke to the customer. The role will include aspects of working at height using our own MEWPs - training and certification can be provided. As a company we encourage our employees to further their training and qualifications.
We are looking for a self-motivated electrician to work alongside a team of dedicated electrical engineers, who pride themselves on the quality of the work they carry out. It is necessary that you can test your work upon completion (inspection and test).
Part time may also be an option for the right candidate.
JIB rates of pay are negotiable, along with the use of a company van and the supply of test equipment, uniform and PPE etc.

SKILLS

• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
• Demonstrated electrical experience, particularly in an industrial environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics effectively.

Experience:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques to identify faults.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
• Document all maintenance and repair work performed on electrical systems.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies while performing duties on-site.
