Job Description ✅ $34-$40/hr (depending on experience) ✅Monday-Friday 9:30am-8pm (this will eventually move to a night shift) ✅$2/hr shift premium from 4pm on ✅Location: Rock Island, IL Techo-Bloc is on the hunt for their next industrial maintenance electrician. Our technicians are highly proficient in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting. Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day: Troubleshoot using electrical schematics and multimeter/megger to diagnose electrical issues Properly size components and cabling for new electrical systems Reads and understands wiring diagrams to trace electrical circuits; IO’s, OL’s, contactors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical components Familiar with troubleshooting/set up of VFD drives; SEW drives, Siemen, Lenze, Allen Bradley, AB Start or jog equipment to perform maintenance tasks Test malfunctioning machinery, identify parts needed and complete repairs Repair, install and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans which involves working at heights, climbing ladders and using mobile equipment (cranes, forklift, scissor lift, etc.). Document and perform all preventative maintenance tasks as required to maintain equipment dependability. Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities 2 + years’ experience working in Electromechanics, Industrial Electrician or relevant field. Proficient Electrical skills Proficient in troubleshooting electrical components; IOs, OLs, contactors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical components Read and comprehend schematics and diagrams. Experience with 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systems Able to use multi-meter, megger, and other test equipment Maintain, install, troubleshoot VFDs, programmable sensors, SCADA, HMI, and PLCs. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes Collaborative; Works in the spirit of partnership.
