MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Hold a certified Industrial Electricians certificate of Qualification.
• Knowledge of electronics and PLC
• Maintain good housekeeping and be familiar with and follow all safe operating procedures
• Work rotating shifts and some overtime as required

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 Education
• At least five years experience as an Industrial Electrician
• Physically fit
• Must be able to perform electrical repairs to plating and zinc line rectifier
• Must be able to analyze electrical problems to programmable logic controls
• Must be able to read and make blueprints for wiring installation
• Ability to read and write
• Able to work as a team with other trades
• Able to read schematics
• Familiar with Punch Press controls and troubleshooting (Plant 4)
• Able to work alone with little supervision and make decision and repairs in a timely manner

DEVELOPMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Programmable logic controls
• Electronic controls
• Electrical safety
• Computer training “basic Windows”
