Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Lead the end-to-end management of employee relations and industrial matters across APAC
  • Act as the main point of contact for disputes, grievances, and Fair Work or tribunal matters
  • Conduct robust investigations and provide strategic, risk-based advice to stakeholders
  • Manage sensitive termination processes and employee complaints to mitigate business risk
  • Provide expert guidance on workplace conduct, policies, and compliance obligations
  • Deliver training and uplift capability across the HR and payroll functions
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, WHS, Payroll and Legal to ensure best practice

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

  • Strong experience in conducting workplace investigations and managing ER disputes
  • A solid understanding of the Australian IR/ER landscape and Fair Work legislation
  • The ability to navigate union environments and employee representative engagement
  • Excellent judgement, discretion, and communication skills under pressure
  • A proactive, calm and organised approach to complex casework
  • A customer-focused mindset and a desire to contribute to continuous improvement
  • Experience working in a fast-paced HR or ER function
  • High emotional intelligence and confidence managing sensitive issues
  • A sharp eye for detail, strong MS Office skills, and a practical understanding of legislation
  • (Desirable) Tertiary qualifications in HR, IR, Law or a related field
