The group you’ll be a part of The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. The impact you’ll make Lam’s Industrial Engineer III is responsible for identifying process improvement opportunities and developing solutions in a high-tech production environment. Responsibilities include coordinating and aligning within cross-functional teams to meet Lam’s safety, production, and organizational objectives. Industrial engineers are expected to demonstrate Lam’s core values through professional conduct and a dedication to honesty and integrity. What you’ll do This role will have unique focus on supporting Tualatin Manufacturing, Global Industrial Engineering, and Lam’s overall Digital Transformation. This includes the following: Create tools, methods, and processes by which data are analyzed and filtered Create recommendations for changes to systems and behaviors to collect better-quality data Develop strong relationships with Global Industrial Engineering, Global Manufacturing Engineering, and Digital Transformation teams to facilitate global metric standardization Create and prepare data visualization Reports for regular tracking to manufacturing goals, particularly those related to capacity, Progress dashboards for production metrics, and Support for stakeholders, particularly as SME for selecting appropriate boundaries for data sets and assist in interpreting results Support and lead data aggregation, cleansing, analysis, and visualization efforts Support tool transition efforts through the production development maturation timeline Analyze and recommend efficiency and productivity improvements Lead KPI reporting projects Determine factory capacity constraints and inform stakeholders of optimization activities to reduce productivity bottlenecks Encourage teamwork through open communication and collaborative problem-solving Participate in team meetings, facilitate project status updates Maintain appropriate documentation for material flow, people flow, and factory layout optimization Who we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or similar Five+ years’ manufacturing environment experience: Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and/or Logistics Advanced statistical knowledge Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Excellent coding skills: Python and SQL preferred Experience building and maintaining PowerBI dashboards Project management skills Physical requirements include the ability to squat, kneel, walk, climb, stand, and reach outside neutral for less than 50% of the time; ability to lift 35 pounds; able to distinguish colors.
