Description Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and labor-intensive activities. Develop and implement plans for improvement. Job Responsibilities/Key Accountabilities: Analyze, develop, and implement process improvements and technological upgrades that maximize efficiency and reduce waste. Perform ergonomic studies to develop and implement safer and easier work methods. Conduct Value Stream Mapping and develop actionable strategies to improve processes. Develop design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel. Design the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements. Monitor production flows and recommend optimal solutions for production flow. Train staff for new processes and provide procedures, instructions, and manuals. Self-motivated, open minded, detail-oriented individual Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Job Requirements/Knowledge and Experience: Advanced use of Excel, Word and other Microsoft products. Background in Lean and 5S principles Strong math skills and ability to perform structural calculations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Educational Requirements/Degree(s): Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
