REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10–15 years’ industrial/manufacturing engineering experience in automotive, electronics, or precision engineering industries.
  • Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping, WSI, and time & motion studies.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly experienced Industrial Engineer (10–15 years) to join a global leader in automotive technology. This is a senior role where you will lead productivity and cost improvement initiatives, oversee new manufacturing line setup, manage CAPEX budgets, and drive Lean Manufacturing strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide industrial engineering support to manufacturing: layout, Work Standard Instructions (WSI), routing, process & material flow.
  • Lead a team in productivity & cost improvement projects.
  • Perform cost estimation for potential products.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, procedures, and standards.
  • Collaborate with product teams to implement resource optimization ideas.
  • Conduct time & motion studies to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions.
  • Plan, set up, and optimize manufacturing lines.
  • Support new product start-ups and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
  • Track and control CAPEX spending for new manufacturing lines.
  • Drive Lean initiatives, including Value Stream Mapping, during line setup.
