JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide service from a contract Industrial Engineer specialist in process design and manufacturing process updates. Perform layout updates as required per new process and/or process updates. Perform manufacturing line balance analysis and execute any required updates. Perform engineering reports such as time study analysis, feasibility analysis, decision matrix, Analyze potential impact of new Products, features and/or process to be introduced in the manufacturing operations. Testing and verification of functionality. Design and lead implementation of manufacturing processes. Lead multidisciplinary teams may become actively involved, as required, to meet deadlines and resolve issues. Perform and execute training plans, prepare manufacturing document specifications, coordinate pilot builds, and capture and follow up all issues identified in the implementation process. Keep records and present reports regarding new process setup. Perform Manufacturing process readiness with cross-functional teams. Communicate project status to management during periodical reviews as well as execute escalation process as needed. Support development and execution of training plans for new processes. Identify potential tooling, fixtures and/or equipment requirements for manufacturing process. Managing suppliers’ readiness. To coordinate layout reviews with vendors, designers and other stakeholders as required. Keep records and complete process documentation including but not limited to PFMEA, standard work instructions, Process change request and buy off forms, Statement of work documents (SOW), design concerns, problem follow up sheets, etc. Perform layout updates as required per new process and/or process updates. Perform engineering reports such as time study analysis, feasibility analysis, decision matrix, etc. Contractor Engineer should be adaptable and prepared to contribute to a variety of tasks to support other Manufacturing engineers to achieve new product introduction goals.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
