Job Description Job Summary: The Industrial Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving productivity, managing labor resources, and supporting automation programs. This role plays a key part in aligning operational capacity with demand fluctuations, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and service level compliance. You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Team Lead, located in Monterrey, Mexico. Essential Functions: Coordinate manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Support Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen programs. Maintain time studies, standard work, and line balancing. Identify bottlenecks and implement actions to improve throughput and capacity. Develop and control Headcount (HC) plans in consideration of production demand. Monitor and adjust labor capacity vs demand fluctuations. Manage labor efficiency and use. Monitor Indicators (OEE, Productivity, Scrap, Cycle Time, Labor Efficiency). Support implementation and optimization of automation systems. Design and increase manufacturing layouts and material flow. Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI). Minimum Requirements: Industrial, mechanical or related career engineer. At least 2 years of experience manufacturing environment. English, conversational level. Lean Manufacturing Knowledge. ISO 9001 knowledge. AutoCAD, CAD software skills. Understanding of ERP.
