We’re looking for an Industrial Engineer to join our large Halifax based client. This person will help design, plan, and implement process improvements across all construction, delivery, production and repair activities. This role blends technical expertise, lean thinking, and real-world engineering practice to drive measurable improvements. QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Eng.) and Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation
• 4–10 years of experience in an industrial or project management environment, with a focus on improving operational performance.
• Have ability to read blueprints, create 3D models and develop markup drawings.
• Hands-on experience with lean/six sigma methodologies (yellow, green belt, or equivalent).
• Strong technical skills including blueprint reading, 3D modeling/simulation navigation, and development of specifications and reports.
• Proven ability to analyze systems, develop business cases, conduct testing, and communicate effectively across organizational levels.

• Drive proactive process improvement initiatives, including standards development, material flow optimization, performance metrics, and workstation design.
• Lead the creation of innovation project proposals, incorporating business case development and technical evaluation with support from subject matter experts.
• Identify and act on Continuous Improvement opportunities across assigned projects and workflows.
• Assess risks associated with engineering initiatives and lead development of effective mitigation plans.
• Facilitate cross-functional innovation projects using structured problem-solving and stakeholder engagement techniques.
• Apply change management principles to effectively communicate, implement, and sustain new processes and technologies.
