MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the following equipment:

• Conveyors
• Electronic Control Panels
• Power Transmission Equipment (motors, gearboxes, bearings)
• Vibratory Screeners & Feeders
• Air Density Separators
• Eddy Current Separators
• Drying Equipment
• Feed Hoppers
• Automatic Optical Sorting Equipment

You’ll also have access to a large, well-equipped workshop with welding bays and fabrication equipment. Full training will be provided where necessary.

DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES

• Carry out both proactive and reactive maintenance
• Work to strict Health & Safety standards and assist with improving risk assessments and method statements
• Perform welding tasks (MIG and stick)
• Complete preventative maintenance and repair schedules
• Conduct process improvement work
• Work independently or as part of a team
• Support other departments with technical expertise
• Use Pirana CMMS to complete all work orders
• Ensure plant equipment is repaired safely and efficiently
• Provide feedback to Senior Glass Technicians
• Support production teams to maintain plant efficiency
