Requirements: Qualifications & Experience: A Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering (BEng) or a related field The skills we need: Computer Literacy Strong Attention to Detail Systems engineering and integration Process engineering and process improvement Operations research (linear programming, simulation, optimisation) Industrial systems design and analysis Attributes required: Collaborative Creative Energy Hands on Have an opinion and voice it Strong communication skills Strong problem solving skills Key responsibilities: Develop operational dashboards using data visualisation tools, perform statistical analysis on warehouse performance metrics, assist in data integration projects, and create data tables for business intelligence reporting Support cross-functional teams with data-driven insights and recommendations throughout the rotation Assist in WMS maintenance activities, support user management and system access controls, contribute to report building and system testing protocols, and participate in system process design improvements Support equipment and infrastructure procurement processes, assist in creating CAD drawings and technical designs, coordinate with external contractors, and contribute to project management activities including procurement documentation and payment processing Apply engineering principles to facility layout optimisation and equipment selection Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), contribute to training program design and implementation, support process design and rollout initiatives, participate in train-the-trainer programs, and conduct process audits Lead process improvement projects using lean methodologies and industrial engineering principles Build comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations from data analytics through to process implementation This is a 12-month contract position.
