Job Description We are seeking a motivated and analytical Industrial Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applying industrial engineering principles to real-world manufacturing challenges. Collect and analyze data from the shop floor to identify areas for process improvement in regards of layout , material flow. Assist industrial engineers in developing and implementing lean manufacturing techniques to enhance 5S and Kaizen initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional CBT2,CBT3 teams to optimize production workflows and reduce waste Conduct time and motion studies to improve workplace ergonomics and productivity Prepare detailed reports and presentations on implemented improvements, project findings and recommendations Support the development and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) for production processes Analyze and filter CIM proposal . Assist in the creation and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for prioritized manufacturing processes Qualifications Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Industrial Engineering or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach Understanding of industrial engineering principles, lean manufacturing concepts, and process improvement methodologies Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Willingness to work in a factory setting and conduct observations at various workstations Innovative mindset with a passion for optimizing processes and driving efficiency Medium to advanced English language proficiency, both written and verbal Additional Information *Please attach your university internship letter and preferably 6 months internship period.
