Join the team at Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company!   Days/Hours of Work: 7am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday Job Summary Maintain and repair a wide range of battery powered electrical material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, rapid delivery carts, and floor care equipment to ensure continual and safe operation. Job Responsibilities Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system on equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, rapid delivery carts, and floor care equipment. Perform scheduled quarterly preventive maintenance inspections and regular repairs on equipment i.e. replacing load wheels and steer tires, replacing connectors on batteries, repairing components of the water stringer system, etc.  Occasionally provides emergency/unscheduled repairs. May perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.  Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of two years of work experience. Previous experience as an electric powered MHE mechanic preferred. Knowledge electrical systems and components required. Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude. Must have own tools. Prior experience using pallet jack or forklift preferred.  Ability to obtain certification upon hire is required.
