Description Position Summary High PSI is seeking a versatile and driven Industrial Equipment Sales & Service to support both equipment sales and hands-on service operations. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, solving mechanical problems, and driving revenue growth. In this position, you will be responsible for selling industrial pressure washer equipment and detergents, while also diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining pressure washing systems. You will serve as a trusted partner to customers by helping them select the right solutions and keeping their equipment operating efficiently. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with sales growth, supported by an established customer base, company vehicle, and ongoing training. Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Development Manage full sales cycle including prospecting, quoting, closing, and account management Develop and grow a territory through cold calling, site visits, and relationship building Call on existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities Recommend equipment, detergents, and service solutions based on customer needs Upsell products directly from company vehicle inventory Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity in CRM Conduct basic market research to identify growth opportunities Service & Technical Support Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial pressure washing equipment Perform preventative maintenance including pumps, engines, hoses, and system components Repair gas, diesel, and electric-powered units Install and replace pumps, motors, burners, valves, and related components Test equipment to ensure proper operation and safety compliance Provide on-site field service at customer locations as needed Maintain detailed service records and documentation Order and track parts required for repairs Customer Service & Support Provide responsive and professional support via phone, email, and in-person visits Resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively Educate customers on proper equipment use and maintenance Collaborate with internal team members to ensure customer satisfaction Requirements 3–5+ years of experience in equipment sales, mechanical service, or a combination of both Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in: Pressure washers Pumps and fluid systems Small engines (gas/diesel) Electrical components and troubleshooting Proven ability or willingness to cold call and develop new business Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to diagnose problems and provide practical solutions Experience using CRM systems and basic technology tools Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs and handle equipment and materials Preferred Experience Industrial cleaning equipment or pressure washer industry Field service technician experience Outside sales or territory management Working with manufacturing, municipalities, or agricultural customers Compensation & Benefits Base Hourly Pay + Commission (Uncapped) Typical earnings range: $28.00 to $32.00 an hour depending on experience plus commission Company vehicle (pickup truck) provided Health, Dental, and Vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan Overtime opportunities (service-related work) Ongoing training and advancement opportunities Work Environment This role is a mix of: Field-based work visiting customers and job sites Shop work performing equipment repairs Independent territory management with daily customer interaction You will be out in the field regularly, building relationships and ensuring customer equipment is running at peak performance.
