Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Industrial Excellence Trainer, you will:

  • Be a safety champion – Lead safety initiatives and support our Zero Harm goals.
  • Drive compliance & best practices – Develop and improve Occupational health and safety (OH&S) and Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) systems, policies, and risk assessments.
  • Analyse & improve safety performance – Monitor incident trends, conduct root cause analyses, and implement solutions.
  • Facilitate impactful training programs – Deliver and coordinate critical safety, operational, and compliance training for employees.
  • Empower teams through knowledge – Ensure employees are properly trained in first aid, fire warden duties, forklift operation, quality standards, and emergency procedures.
  • Collaborate & support leadership – Work closely with managers and supervisors to promote proactive safety measures and ensure compliance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement – Identify and implement process improvements that enhance safety, efficiency, and employee engagement.

We need a proactive, passionate leader who can inspire and drive change. To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A strong commitment to workplace safety – Safety is at the core of everything we do.
  • 5+ years of experience in a comparable industry or similar role.
  • Exceptional communication & leadership skills – The ability to engage, train, and motivate teams at all levels.
  • A hands-on, problem-solving mindset – Someone who takes initiative and finds practical solutions.
  • Experience in safety compliance & training – Knowledge of EH&S regulations, risk assessments, and training programs.
  • The ability to drive cultural change – Encouraging compliance, continuous learning, and a positive safety culture.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills – To develop reports, policies, and training materials.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal hours when needed – Supporting manufacturing operations.
  • In line with business objectives, perform other duties as assigned
