Description Industrial Facilities Cleaner - 12 hour shift Hours: 5am-5pm, 12 Hr Shifts : 4 on, 3 off, 3 on, 4 off Pay: $17.00/hour + $1.00 shift differential Maintain Cleanliness of Manufacturing Facilities 50% Performs both light and heavy janitorial duties in a manufacturing environment Additional accountabilities as required Facility cleaning including rest rooms, mowing, weed eating and general assistance throughout the plant when needed. Able to climb ladders, able to bend over to sweep and scoop and ale to lift up to 40 pounds. Facility Audits and Improvement Planning/Back up 50% Accountable for assessing facility conditions at regular intervals and reporting hazards identified, along with repair needs and other opportunities for facility improvements to the Plant Manager Fill in as back up for designated pellet mill operator and/or packaging operator when needed Assist with PM accountabilities as needed Perform other duties as required Requirements High School diploma or GED required One to two years production line experience in an industrial setting highly preferred Must possess good eye, hand and foot coordination Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time and multi-task Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Requires the ability to do simple math calculations #IDCentral

Responsibilities

The Industrial Facilities Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in manufacturing facilities and performing janitorial duties. Additionally, the role includes assessing facility conditions and reporting any hazards or repair needs to the Plant Manager.
