Regional Sales Manager supporting our industrial sectors covering the Southern area of the UK. Ideal location, Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey or West Sussex.

Your role will be predominantly focused on the construction industry supplying and building relationships with builders merchants with brick, dry and moist sand and bagged products.
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team on our industrial side of the business to help support our growing ambitions to recruit new clients. If you are adventurous, dynamic, determined, self reliant, enthusiastic, optimistic, confident and friendly we want to talk with you!
Looking after our clients and we will train and support you to be the best you can be in generating leads and converting prospects as well as servicing our current client base..
The position of Regional Sales Manager is responsible for meeting their sales targets. This will be achieved by using sales skills, carefully planning their territory, good record keeping and maximising new and existing customer and client needs.
Required Competencies:
· Proven sales experience.
· Articulate, well-presented and accustomed to a client facing role.
· Flexible to travel and to be away from home when required.
· Ability to meet and exceed targets and budgets set.
· The ability to build long standing relationships with clients and to maximize business within these organisations.
· Ambitious and self-motivated.
· IT literate including the use of Excel.
· Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
· Planning and organizational skills
· A desire for continuous personal and professional development.
· You must hold a driving license.
· Excellent customer service skills.

Key Accountabilities:
· Understand in depth the full product range of your sector and a broad understanding of all products we manufacture. (full training will be given)
· Promote the Quality and service of our company at all times.
· Achieve the targeted selling price for your product(s) notwithstanding that the historical market share of your product(s) is achieved at the best possible selling price.
· Ensure customer satisfaction is the highest priority.
· Plan visits to ensure effective calling on customers and potential customers, whilst minimizing costs of travelling. A weekly call planner to be implemented and submitted as well as using visit reports to obtain customer or prospect history and prepare visit objectives.
· Accountable for your sales against budget.
· Be responsible for achieving the Company’s sales and profit targets.
· Analyse customer sales data, qualify prospects and determine specific actions.
· Define strategies for customer targeting.
· Identify customer targets within their territory to develop the sales plan.
· Be a great communicator able to use your own initiative and enjoy building relations on a 1:1 basis as well as working as part of a close team.
· Fulfil any marketing objectives set.
· Arranging to attend industry conferences and events.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
