Description

We require the services of an Industrial Gas, Welding and Steel Manager with a background in Welding OR Industrial Gas. The successful candidate will have a good general industrial IQ with strengths in welding, gas or steel. With the right mix of training and experience the successful candidate will perform the following duties.

  • Be the store point person for welding related inquiries as needed
  • Take ownership of the companies Industrial Gas dock, ordering gas from Air Liquide, our gas supplier, on a weekly basis as well as making sure the empties go back in a timely manner.
  • Work with the yard team members to manage the inventory levels of our steel supplies and take ownership of ordering from our steel suppliers.
  • Provide excellent customer service and offer a positive first impression of the store and the company.
  • Confidently provide product information to customers in a friendly manner.
  • Provide pricing, recommend services and parts, and prepare and present customer quotations.
  • Review purchase orders, present and discuss any additional work needed with customers.
  • Ordering of parts if needed.
  • Completing sales using credit cards and some cash handling.
  • Balance your cash out at the end of each shift.
  • Work using a PO system and keeping your paperwork up to date and completed in a timely manner.
  • Bill out invoices to customer accounts diligently and efficiently.
