Description Location: Reno, Nevada (with multi-site support) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial HVAC/R Engineer to manage and optimize our large-scale refrigeration and HVAC systems across multiple manufacturing plants. You will play a critical role in ensuring system reliability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Design, operate, and maintain large-scale refrigeration systems (e.g., plate freezers, chillers) and HVAC systems. Troubleshoot and resolve system inefficiencies or failures. Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and relevant safety regulations. Collaborate with operations teams on system upgrades, automation integration, and continuous improvement. Conduct preventive maintenance and oversee contractors or technicians as needed. Assist in optimizing system capacity, throughput, and energy efficiency. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years in industrial HVAC/R environments, preferably with large refrigeration systems. Knowledge of PLCs, automation, and control systems is a plus. Proven ability to manage multiple projects across locations. Compensation: Expected salary range: $90,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
