Role accountabilities: As an Industrial Hygiene/EHS Compliance Specialist, your role is to ensure that your clients' facilities are in compliance with environmental and health & safety regulations. You will be supporting compliance projects for a variety of client types. Your core duties will include but not be limited to: Assisting with Environmental, health, and safety compliance projects and providing ad-hoc compliance support. Performing occupational exposure evaluations for chemical and/or physical hazards and support indoor air quality assessments while producing high-quality deliverables for our clients. Conducting inspections, investigations, safety observations, job safety analysis and risk assessments and mitigation actions that will identify, evaluate and control unsafe health & safety hazards or risks. Environmental reporting support (Tier II, Biennial Hazardous and Residual Waste Reporting, etc.). Hazardous waste management support (program development, characterization and profiling, waste vendor selection and audits, etc.). Ability to create detailed Excel spreadsheets based on permit requirements, audit results, or other tasks. Assist in building client relationships and nurture repeat business by continuously striving to exceed their expectations. Perform other client-specific EHS-related duties as needed. The selected candidate must be self-motivated, detail-orientated, a problem-solver, and have the ability to work successfully in a team setting as well as independently. The selected candidate must have strong technical writing and written communication skills, strong organization and time management skills, strong interpersonal skills and professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently. As an Industrial Hygiene/EHS Compliance Specialist, you will need to be organized and able to track project documentation, regulatory reports, and plans. This is a hybrid role requiring you to be on-site and in office as needed. This role will also require occasional travel (up to 25%). As an IH/EHS Compliance Specialist, you will need to be health and safety focused and follow client H&S requirements. Qualifications & Experience: Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts and/or Bachelor of Engineering degree (Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Occupational Health and Safety, Toxicology, Public Health; Environmental, Civil, Chemical Engineering) or a college/university transcript providing demonstrated equivalent coursework. Preferred Qualifications: One year of relevant work or internship experience in the EHS field. Basic knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
