Based in Blackburn, ACS Specialist Cleaning Ltd provide hygiene services, working predominantly in the food and industrial sectors. We deliver a variety of high-quality services, including high-level cleaning, silos, ducting and production hygiene maintenance. We are currently recruiting within our rope access / confined space team.
Through sustained growth over 20 years, ACS would like to welcome self-motivated individuals to join our expanding team as a skilled Industrial Hygiene Operative. With a heavy focus on health & safety you will need to be comfortable and confident working at height & within confined spaces.
Rope access, Confined space and IPAF qualifications will be the minimum requirements to ensure you are physically capable of undertaking the role. Training can be provided for the right applicant. Knowledge of workplace health and safety competence will also be a requirement.
You will be responsible for completion of all relevant checklists and adhere to the work schedule. It is vital to pay full attention to Health & Safety requirements, use of chemicals and equipment in the correct manner, and adhere to the risk assessment and method statements provided, ensuring safe systems of working at all times.
The successful applicant must hold a full, clean driving licence. A HGV licence would be an advantage but not essential. Based in Blackburn you will be responsible for your own transport to the company warehouse, where transport will be provided for you to travel to site with the team.
As a national contractor, candidates must be flexible and available to work away from home covering weekdays & weekends.
A fair level of fitness is required to undertake this role.
