We are currently seeking to add an Industrial Hygienist/Environmental Health & Safety Technician to our dynamic teams in Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon. $25 to $30 hourly in office and field full-time with benefits. The role is field-intensive and supports a broad range of projects located in Southwest Washington and Northwest Oregon areas. These projects reflect PBS’ core practices in industrial hygiene/health and safety, environmental compliance, indoor air quality, and hazardous material site assessments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or industry experience in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Health and Safety, or a related field
  • Ability to function independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift approximately 30 pounds
  • Authorization to work in the US
  • Valid driver’s license

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Experience in industrial compliance and/or air quality sampling
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
  • AHERA Asbestos Inspector certification
  • NIOSH 582 Certified Analyst
