Job Title Industrial Hygienist Job Description You are part of the multidisciplinary EHS team (Environment, Health & Safety) at the Philips Campus in Best, where experts work together to create an industry leading site with focus on Health & Safety. You will act as Subject Matter Expert on dangerous substances. In this role, you will collaborate with Global Health & Safety and use and implement global tools for Incident Reporting, Hazardous Substances Registration, Risk Assessment, Action Tracker, etc. Next to that you play an active role in maintaining and improving the EHS Management system. You provide support on Occupational Health, and you will be involved in the environmental management system. In addition, you will have the opportunity to lead and participate in improvement projects in our PIC-E BEST CAMPUS improvement programs. Your role: Support conducting risk assessments and evaluations (RI&E) and implementing control measures. Advising management and employees on preventive measures and safe working methods solicited, and unsolicited. Monitoring and analyzing working conditions and identifying potential risks on occupational hygiene and safety. Developing and conducting training and information sessions for employees on occupational hygiene and safety. Conducting internal HSE audits. Actively contributing to maintaining and improving the health and safety management system. Preparing and updating documentation and reports related to health and safety management. Support incident investigation and analysis. You are a part of The Philips Innovation Center-Eindhoven Best Campus (PIC-E Best Campus) EHS Site Team and you will report to the EHS Manager of the PIC-E BEST CAMPUS. You're the right fit if you have the following skills and experience: University for applied science or academic level. Degree in Industrial Hygiene or willing to attain a degree (supported by relevant professional experience). SKO-certification in Industrial Hygiene or willing to attain certification. Excellent analytical skills and a growth mindset. Ability to influence. Experience/ affinity with creating and driving programs focused on improving procedures & policies & safety culture. Enthusiasm for environmental challenges Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is a plus. If you have a degree as occupational safety engineer (HVK) and are willing to attain a degree in industrial hygiene, we are also interested in getting to know you.
