Description Job Title: Industrial I&C TechnicianLocation: Port Arthur, Texas Company Overview: Technical Diagnostic Services (TDS), a TechPro Power Group company, based in Fort Worth, TX, has been delivering industry-leading service solutions for over 25 years that empower its customers to safely start up and optimize the performance of their facilities’ mechanical, electrical, and controls systems. TDS provides mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control construction, testing, and start-up and commissioning services to the Power Generation, Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical, Heavy Process, and other Industrial end markets. We are a dynamic and rapidly growing company in search of a skilled Industrial I&C Technician to join our team to support a large industrial construction project in Southeast Texas. Key Responsibilities: Assemble, construct, install, and maintain industrial instrumentation and digital control systems & related infrastructure according to specifications. Safely use hand and power tools, metering equipment, and precision instruments. Collaborate with team members to complete projects within defined timelines. Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Qualifications: Proven experience as an Instrumentation & Controls Technician in an industrial environment with a focus on the assembly, construction, installation, and maintenance/ troubleshooting of heavy industrial instrumentation and controls equipment. Strong electrical aptitude, understanding of power systems and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to travel to various project sites within the U.S. Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5+ years’ Experience in Industrial Instrumentation and Controls construction and/ or maintenance within a Heavy Process Industrial/ O&G/ Petrochemical environment. Knowledge of industry-specific electrical code, regulations, and/ or standards. Project Details: Project: Large LNG Processing & Terminal Facility- New Construction Location: Port Arthur, TX Duration: 12+ months (could extend) Schedule: 4-10’s (Mon-Thurs) + 8hr (Fri)- May increase up to 6-10’s Pay-rate: Based Upon Experience & Certification/ License Level Overtime: Yes, 1.5 on all O/T hours Per Diem: Yes, $140/day x 7 days per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Requirements Physical Requirements: This job involves both indoor and outdoor work. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Lift, carry and/or move up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
